Exciting things are about to happen in Kingman, Arizona. Last evening a few local business owners, citizens that want to see Kingman become another jewel along Route 66, and newly elected mayor John Salem came together in a meeting to create the Kingman Route 66 Association of Kingman.

As this meeting was primarily an organizational one there was little in the way of concrete direction but the excitement and enthusiasm was palpable. The next meeting, scheduled for Thursday evening, September 18, at the historic Brunswick Hotel is eagerly anticipated.
