Book number 23 was published in October 2025 but pursuit of the childhood dream to become a writer when I grow up continues. Jim Hinckley’s America is a multifacted storytelling platform built on a passion for sharing America’s story and inspiring road trips by telling people where to go.
Route 66: 100 Years
This richly illustrated Route 66 anthology edited by Jim Hinckley, author of several chapters, chronicles the history, the origins, and the evolution of this iconic highway from the American plan advanced by Senator Henry Clay in the 1830s to the centennial and beyond. Speaking Engagements
The list of speaking engagements is as diverse as the books written. I was a featured speaker at the 2016 and 2018 European Route 66 festivals, am a regular speaker at the annual Route 66 Miles of Possibility Conferences, AAA Route 66 Road Fest and speak at other events such as the New Mexico Governor’s Hospitality and Tourism Conference.
Community Development
It has been a pleasure to assist with development of educational programs for several institutions including Mohave Community College. I have also provided an array of tourism development related services to several communities including Cuba, Missouri and Tucumcari, New Mexico. This includes development of marketing campaigns, providing promotional assistance, and development of visitors guides.
