Hit the road with Jim HInckley’s America. Discover the amazing, the colorful, and the diverse story of America with road trips.
Our network is built on a passion for telling people where to go and the sharing of America’s story. It is a fast growing community of folks that are as obsessed as we are for road trips. From the Coffee With Jim podcast and speaking engagements to books and blogs written for clients we share the adventure.
Writing the Roadmap: Blogs That Bring Places to Life
Every road trip needs a roadmap (or app) and a story to go with it. That’s why storytelling is at the heart of what we do. Through partnerships like the one we have with Talisman Magic Marketing in Kingman, Arizona, we’ve penned blogs that highlight local culture, backroads history, and hidden corner gems that energize any itinerary. And we have provided their clients with blogs that enhance SEO and make mundane products interesting with trivia and history.
We’ve also welcomed opportunities to share the rich and colorful history of the Colorado River Valley for The River 250 in Bullhead City, a celebration honoring America’s 250th birthday. And for the Laughlin Tourism Commission, we’ve shared day-trip blogs and guide that elevate this vibrant river town and transform it into a multifaceted destination.
And the Jim Hinckley’s America blog is as might be expected, a shared adventure. We are rather proud of this portal to a world of adventure. You will find lots of road trip inspiration in the archives that span more than a decade of stories.
Take the Stage: Speaking Engagements That Inspire Wanderers
There’s nothing like meeting face-to-face with folks who share your love of the road. And that is one reason we take the show on the road as often as possible:
- Route 66 Info Fair in Needles, California — this was our first festival in 2026 and it was a hoot! Aside from seeing old friends it was a delight to help folks plan a Route 66 adventure. Telling people where to go …
- Sounds of Kingman in Kingman, Arizona, March 28 — I will be sharing the story of Route 66, and the prehistory of that storied highway, in the southwest.
- Lake Elsinore Historical Society in Lake Elsinore, California — I will be speaking about the evolution of Route 66 from highway to icon with an international fan club.
- Do you have an event, fund raiser, festival or conference that could use a smile or two and some good old fashioned storytelling? Drop me a note.
